French CN-235 crashes, killing seven

Dropping parachutists in southern France, a French military CASA CN-235 crashed in the Pyrénées mountains near Suc-et-Sentenac December 17, killing all seven aboard.

The French Defense Ministry says that several parachutists jumped out of the plane before the crash. Of the fatalities, four were crew members and three were passengers. The plane had taken off from Toulouse.
